A portobello mushroom is a great vegetarian substitute when making burgers!
Here's how I made mine:
2 slices Chia bread (wheat/ gluten free)
1 Organic portobello mushroom
Sprouts (any kind: alfalfa, radish etc)
Hemp oil
Grape tomatoes
Feta cheese
Garlic hummus
Cilantro
Fresh cracked pepper
1.Toast the chia bread. Place mushroom on toast, brush w/ hemp oil and sprinke
cilantro on top (mushroom can be cooked, but I prefer to eat it raw)
2. Spread hummus on other piece of toast. Add sprouts on top (the more
the better)
3. Slice tomatoes, and place onto sprouts. Sprinkle w/ feta cheese and pepper.
4. Combine both slices to create the mushroom burger. Cut in half. Enjoy!
